I find that a lot of my clients automatically assume that the larger multinational corporations are simply too big to compete with online. In fact, having successful search engine optimisation by a reputable company, is the best way to compete with this large companies.
Do not lose heart when you see large companies on the first page of Google. If you search different terms, and do a bit of research, you will begin to see that a lot of smaller companies are also turning up in these results. This is because these smaller businesses have invested in search engine optimisation and website marketing, and are seeing the benefit. The return for seo campaigns can be amazing, imagine driving thousands of visitors to your website within only three months!
If a large national company sells an item that you also offer, the chances are that successful seo marketing, can get you competing. It may take between 1-5,000 to start reaching the first page on Google, but lets look at how you can earn this back within months:

4. This company optimises and promotes your website, and reach page one within three months.
5. Your traffic goes from 300 visitors a month to 12,000 visitors a month.
6. Your orders jump from 43 web orders a month to 940 orders a month.
7. Your average dollhouse costs 125.00, cheaper than a lot of large competition. At 940 orders a month, this equates to 117,500 of orders per month, which was previously 5,375 order a month.
The above example is only for illustrative purposes, it shows you how seo works,and why it is such a big business. If you successfully market and optimise your website, you can expect a large return for your investment.
